Kim Basinger Looks fabulous with 71 and a source says that she is one of the healthiest stars in her generation, thanks to an ultra strict vegan diet and skin care regime that left her the envy of her Hollywood colleagues.
“Kim is incredibly disciplined when it comes to her health and appearance,” says an insider exclusively Closer. “She has been vegan for decades and adheres to a very clean, vegetable diet, no processed foods, no sugar, hardly alcohol. She is open every morning and makes her distances and light yoga and she swears by daily walks in nature to keep her mind and body sharp.”
“It is also large in the liquid intake, she drinks liter of water every day and avoids caffeine. Your skin care routine is just as strict,” adds the insider. “She was religious about sun protection as long as someone can remember. That is why she never goes outside without a big hat. And she is always hit in SPF. She says that it is the biggest reason that her skin still looks so good.”
The actress, which is best known for her roles in films such as La Confidential and the Natural, has long been known for her timeless beauty and breathtaking red carpet style throughout her career in Hollywood. Kim’s famous daughter Ireland Baldwin, who she shares with ex-husband Alec Baldwin, previously announced that she learned some great beauty secrets from her mother.
“I learned something about beauty from my mother – everything, from the lipstick to the washing of her face,” said Ireland, 29, said US Weekly In April 2017: “My mother only let me buy cruelty-free brands and make-up that were not tested on animals.”
In the same interview, Ireland spoke about how her mother after Kim’s decades as a model and Hollywood actress was her beauty and style icon.
“My mother in the 80s and 90s,” said Ireland in an interview with the outlet when he was asked about her style.
“When I think of my mother from this time, I remember that she always has crazy lip colors,” she said. “I also remember the mascara in a branch-style on her lower eyelashes. She loved wearing purple eyeshadow. Cindy Crawford always wore purple and pastel-colored colors, and my mother was the same.”
Now Kim is a grandmother of Ireland’s daughter Holland who greeted her with the musician RAC.
“I will not lie … There were moments when I was so overwhelmed by all the changes … but overall things were nice,” said Ireland about motherhood on Instagram in October 2023.
“It is so much fun to spend and find out time,” she said that she became her mother. “I would say that the majority of the stress I’ve experienced recently has nothing to do with her. If you are tired, it just gets worse.”
