Scotty McCreery speaks with Hootie & The Blowfish for the summer anthem, ‘bottle rockets’ (exclusive), which are merging with Hootie & The Blowfish.

Scotty McCreery starts the summer with a bang – literally. The country star has just dropped his latest single “Bottle Rockets” with the legendary band Hootie & The Blowfish, and it already develops into a violent staple.

The optimistic route connects McCreery’s Smooth Southern Drawl with the group listed by Darius Rucker. Together they created a feel -good anthem that captures the essence of the summer as a teenager when everything was fun and had no responsibility in sight.

“Bottle Rockets” was written during a trip to North Carolina von McCreery’s mountains together with Brent Anderson, Derek George, Jeremy Bussey, Monty Criswell, Frank Rogers and Bobby Hamrick. The members of Hootie & The Blowfish self, even Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber and Jim Sononefeld, also had a hand in the creative process when they recorded a new version of their mega hit “Hold My Hand” for the track.

    Scotty McCreery; Bottle

While he thinks about this quiet writing session, North Carolina, McCreery, recalls over the past summer and the soundtracks of these warm weather months. Since Hootie and Blowfish were a staple from South Carolina, McCreery admitted that her music was one of the most popular in her neighboring countries.

“Darius has been a friend for a long time, so I was hopeful that you might want to do this, but you never know it, especially if the song probably means so much to you,” McCreery said to Entertainment Scroll. “But I wrote him nervously an SMS and he reported to me and said:” We would like to do it. “The song was better than my wildest dreams.”

McCreery takes the lead on “bottle-rockets” and offers a celebration of young freedom and small town memories that are made in these fleeting summers when the days extended forever. For McCreery, this feeling is rooted in his upbringing in the Carolinas, especially last summer, which he had before real responsibility.

“I talked about my last summer without work. I had no learning permit, but my buddies did it. So they drove everywhere and beat the beach. It was no responsibility. It was like man, I only remember that everyone likes:” Oh, these are the golden days. “It was like” Oh, whatever. “But man, these were good times,” he said.

The song collects the universal feelings of young love and the intoxicating feeling of the newly discovered freedom, which was accompanied by the age of 17 at the age of 17. With Hootie & The Blowfish Soundtracking, so many Summertime memories for McCreery and fans everywhere the track felt like a moment in a full circle.

McCreery added: “Hootie was on the radio, Hootie was on our playback list and so, so it was only a natural connection to have it part of the song.”

The American Idol -Alaun specifies the tone with its characteristic baritone vocals, which illuminates the stories that can be ordered. When Hootie & The Blowfish penetrate the choir, bring a heavy dose of nostalgia with its warm harmonies.

“Narrow missiles on the sky/ bar feet in the sand/ campfire in your eyes/ cold beer in the can/ moon light on the waves/ her kiss in the dark/ smile on her face when she made my guitar and game,” McCreery delivers before Hootie and Blowfish sing out of her loved one with her lines, “hold my hand.”
