A few weeks ago, Rascal Flatts completed their sold-out life a motorway tour that marks a milestone for the group on the 25th anniversary. This hike included 21 stops across the country and the fans, which their iconic hits like “Bleger The Broken Road”, “I move on”, “nowadays”, “What hurts the most” and much more.
Now that the tour is behind you, the trio does not seem to be ready to say goodbye to life on the street. While speaking with Land now Backstage at the ACM Awards, they indicated that they came more and reacted with a playful “Well, it may be” when we mentioned how sad we see the end of the tour.
For the rest of the year, the award-winning Country Supergroup has only a handful of data in the books in the book-a stop at the CMA Fest in Nashville and a appearance at the York State Fair in York, Pennsylvania. However, it seems that more data could be added in the future.
“We were knocked away with the answer that this tour achieved, and it was such a worthwhile and humiliating experience to be on the road with our fans again,” said Jay Demarcus from Rascal Flats before. “For twenty -five years, a Schlingel Flats family has really flown by, and it was a blessing to share with all of them on this tour at this celebration and to feel the love!”
The main focus of the trio is currently on its upcoming collaboration album life is a highway: fueled duets.
In this project, Rascal Flatts put together with a number of superstars to reproduce the magic of some of their greatest hits. The fans already have a foretaste of the release of “I Dare You” with the Jonas Brothers, “Mayberry” with Blake Shelton and “What Hut The Most” with the backstreet boys.
Just last week, Rascal Flatts and Backstreet Boys brought their collaboration on the ACM Awards stage and closed the 60th anniversary show with a medley of her hits, including “what hurts the most”, “bigger than life” and “Life is a highway”.
Carly Pearce, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Brandon Lake, Ashley Cooke, Jordan Davis and more will also appear in the upcoming project.
“It was an honor to create this project with so incredibly talented artists that it is a rather indescribable feeling that her colleagues and friends make their songs in such a unique way and throw off their socks with the results,” said Gary Levox. “This album is just another attempt for us to thank our fans for the blessing, which they gave us in this crazy journey in the past 25 years. Thank you for driving with us!”
