Sixteen-Time ACM, nine-time CMA and Grammy prize-winning artist Lainey Wilson continues her remarkable ascent with the publication of her latest single “Somewhere Over Laredo” via the BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.

Written by Wilson, Trannie Anderson, Dallas Wilson and Andy Albert, the new track taps his hat on the classic “Anyia Over The Rainbow”. It contains Wilson’s characteristic stories and real country roots that think about lost love and honor of small town life throughout America.

Live debut at the American Music Awards

Wilson will appear for the first time at the American Music Awards 2025 on Monday, May 26th, “somewhere over Laredo”, where she is also nominated for the favorite -Country artist for female country.

The song will officially affect the Country Radio on Tuesday, May 27th, via Broken Bow Records, with a world premiere in all major US state stations.
