A deeply personal project built in Texas
Gein von Westbrook wrote alongside a trustworthy group of employees, Texas forever reflects the upbringing and musical identity of the young artist with sincerity and charm. The album examines topics of hard work, heartache, small city stolz and the kind of love, the lasting image of life under broad north-test sky.
The employees on the album include Neil Medley, Lukas Scott, Reid Haughton, Andrew Deroberts, Beau Bailey and more to form a close -knit creative team that contributed to life, Westbrook’s stories.
“I’m so proud of this record,” says Westbrook. “I love Texas, it is so much about who I am. We wrote 50 to 60 songs for this project and restricted it to 17, that I think that I can really represent where I am in my life and what I love as an artist: songs that grew up like me, but like something that could only relate to anyone.”
“I have been waiting for it to feel all of this forever,” he adds. “I can’t wait to hear it and play it on the street for you this summer.”

Title track “Texas Forever” now out
The title track of the album is now available and offers fans the first taste of what will come. “Texas Forever”, a ballad coming from the heart that is anchored by a delicate violin and an acoustic textures, offers a timeless message about the lasting nature of true love and southern roots. Westbrook sings:
“There are some things that do not change, like the red letters in the writing / there are some things that do not fade when the sun on the picture / these guarantees seems to go together / how hearts and sleeves, wild and free, you and me and Texas forever.”
