Dierks Bentley starts funds to support mental health in the music industry

The award-winning country artist Dierk’s Bentley has launched the Broken Business Fund, a multi-year initiative that aims to offer mental support to those who work behind the scenes and on stage in the music industry. The fund announced today is managed in cooperation with the Music Health Alliance (MHA) and offers grants to cover outpatient advice and aftercare for qualified candidates and their families.

The broken branch reflects Bentley’s growing awareness of the emotional tribute that can submit a career in music, especially during the creative and touring process.

“When I make this album and prepared myself for the tour, I was never aware of the victims who bring the people in this city every day to keep country music,” said Bentley. “Regardless of whether you are sitting in a room all day and trying to write the perfect catch or leave on a bus on a bus for weeks, it can be insulating and exhausting. This simply felt like the right opportunity to commit myself to my side to support these people and their families more directly and more deliberately.”

The fans also have the opportunity to contribute to the fund throughout the entire summer stops from Bentley, and online at bit.ly/Donatetomha25.

A heir to the advocacy group

Bentley’s commitment to the well -being of his colleagues in the industry has deep roots.

“Dierks was one of the first artists who believe and support music health alliance, and from day one he led both heart and action,” said Tatum Allsep, founder and CEO of the Music Health Alliance. “The creation of the broken branch at MHA to support the mental health of music shows his deep commitment to the people who address our industry on stage as well as on the way and their well -being for many years.”

On the way and in the studio

The lead single of the album, “She Hates Me”, has already made waves and has given Bentley’s best-read debut so far. The track balances Bentley’s characteristic sound with a playful, humorous edge.
