    Bollywood singer Sumeet Tappoo honored with the Top Civilian Award by Fiji

    The singer and humanitarian Sumeet Tappoo born in Fiji in Mumbai was given the highest civilian honor of the nation of the order of Fiji-in recognition of his outstanding service to his nation through his humanitarian work and his music.

    The honor that corresponds to the India’s Bharat Ratna is the highest recognition of the President of Fiji and stands as a will for Sumee’s lifelong commitment to the service of the nation, which he proudly represents in the world.

    In a Grand Investor Ceremony in the State House in Suva, the President of Fiji, presented his Ethiopian rat, the Naiqama, presented this prestigious award to three people, who are “Breakons of Compassion and Cultural pride for the people of Fiji”.

    While Sumeet Tappoo is recognized worldwide as a renowned Bollywood singer and international artist, its effect goes far beyond the stage. He is the chairman of the children’s hospital Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani-Dem first and only pediatric hospital in the South Pacific area that offers children in Fiji and the Pacific 100% free heart surgery.

    In his warm gratitude, Sumeet said: “I never imagined that I would get the greatest honor of our beloved Fijis. I am deeply and deeply grateful to accept this recognition from his excellence, the president of Fiji, I always believed who is much to be expected, and I will make it difficult.

    Sumeet describes the effects of the hospital and described it “a divine miracle and a permanent monument of love” and found that what once seemed an impossible dream is now a fully functional, first -class institution that changes countless young life. “This is the power of love. This is the power of kindness. This is the power of humanity,” he said.

    Dr. Krupali Tappoo, director of the hospital, who played a crucial role in the operational excellence and expansion of pediatric heart supply in the region.

    The trio of the award winners was the global humanitarian and spiritual leader Sri Madhusudan Sai – the founder of the “One World, One Family Global Humanitarian Mission” and the founder of the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjevani children’s hospital in the Fiduji – for his visionary management in the establishment of the hospital and for his comprehensive global contributions to free Health and training.

    The recognition of Sri Madhusudan Sai provides him with an elite list of Indian dignitaries to get Fiji’s top honor – after only Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and President SMT Droupadi Murmu.

    Since its foundation, the hospital has had 378 life-saving heart surgery, more than 30,000 pediatric echocardiograms and over 40,000 free general and specialized outpatient medical consultation alles.

    President Lalabalavu praised the trio’s unshakable commitment and emphasized the role of the hospital as one of the most successful public health partnerships in the country.
