The opening day at ATX TV Fest give the tone in the right way. We laughed, we mingled, we heard some pretty unforgettable stories and we met with two comedy legends that showed us how it was done.
George Wallace has the room in stitches
Things began with the only George Wallace that gave us a fermented look into his decades in the comedy world. He spoke about his longstanding friendship with Jerry Seinfeld, about his connections to Adam Sandler and what makes his trip to the show business differently.
“I did everything,” he said. “I earned the money. I did the cinemas. I just didn’t pay the price that these boys did.”
And then he struck us with the quote of the day.
“You know the difference between me, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld and Adam Sandler? I can still pee.”

Happy hours and strong connections
After this panel we floated between starting events and Happy Hours. Our favorite? The Women in film and television Meet in the Hey Day Social Club. The mood was warm, open and full of creative energy!
Seth Meyers excludes the night like a professional
The Paramount Theater summed up for Seth Meyers and he delivered. Stories of his stories SNL Days, spoken about the building Late nightAnd we all felt the feeling of being the joke.
And yes – during the questions and answers, an audience raised that Bin Laden -Documentary. Seth’s answer? Flawless. “We are dear friends,” he was dead. Then I added: “I once played the blue -eyed bin shop SNL. ““ Only Seth Meyers could turn this moment into a microphone drop.
