Country superstar Alan Jackson – The recipient of 21 Prior ACM Awards in his famous career was part of the Academy of Country music history on Thursday evening as the first person who was honored with a new award that has his name in the future. Jackson is the first recipient of the new Academy Academy Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award.
Presented by Show host Reba Mcentire, the Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award Is – and will be in the future – to a legendary artist, a duo or a group that has achieved both national and international awareness and stature through concert performances, philanthropy, record sales, streaming numbers and public representation. The artist who receives this award has had a positive impact on the growth of the genre over the years and had an unprecedented historical influence on fans and industry national and international.
