Kay brings her real emotions through her music again.
With her latest publication “The Last” Alexandra Kay stops the dynamics of her lover girls. The hell -mixed melody feels both fresh and familiar for fans who have followed their journey from the heartache who appears in their debut album. Everything I’ve ever knownTo heal in her next musical chapter to light.
Kay sat down with the co-authors Andrew Deroberts and Jon Green and remembers how she opened up the joy that she feels in her new relationship after a divorce. However, she also became honest with something that weighs her heart in terms of elements of her past and how it could affect her current love life.
“I talked about how I was in a new relationship, and I was very happy and I am still in this relationship. And the only thing that always stayed in my back of my head is really that I have some of these life experiences at some point,” she explained to the Entertainment Scroll. “And that was just the conversation that we had, and we just talked about how we wanted to write a song about how it doesn’t play anything that happened before.
Training of emotions in real life
The result is a song that is pulled directly from the heart and comes at home, especially nearby in her current phase of life. With its charming and authentically real vocals under the wistful acoustic guitar, the aspiring star offers a explanation of the newly discovered love and a memory that some of the best chapters of life come after the pain of heart pain. She proves that nothing that has happened in the past when you meet the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.
“Be the last in my head/ every night when I close my eyes/ the last arms I fall into/ when the sun has fallen from this sky/ gave you my heart and for the first time/ I don’t want it back/ be the last one,” she delivers the choir.
Execute the new melody next to her boyfriend
Kay contributes to the emotional weight of the song and can perform it every evening with her guitarist, who is also her friend Rocko Beall.
“We bring it together every evening and it’s a real moment. It’s wonderful,” she admits before she later thinks about how much this feeling really means for her.
“It feels great. On my last album there is a song with the title” Malt Him Perfect “, and this song says:” I would sing his praise in every stage, and he just had to mention that he hate attention. “And so it feels really cool in my life to be up there with someone that I can simply love so loudly, and it is not embarrassing and he loves me so loud and proud, and it’s just a really healthy scenario.
Find out among the fans
“The Last” exploded online before it was officially published. As a result, the fans have already withdrawn the texts worldwide on sold -out shows.
“We are currently on a fully sold -out UK tour, and we played Dublin, Ireland, and I said: ‘How are we so far away from home and this song has not yet come out and they all sang?’ I understand I don’t understand, but I’m so grateful, ”said Kay Ehrlich.
She continued: “I just think it’s really, very cool that these fans were there for me in the most difficult time of my life and supported me in a way that they don’t even know.
New album comes later this year
Alexandra Kay looked at what’s next and revealed that in her next project some of the same elements will be included in her last album Everything I’ve ever knownAs well as fresh sounds that are inspired by their current love story.
“One thing I didn’t want is to fall in love with everything I have ever known, this sound and then to my new record and it is like all pop and optimisms, and they get nothing that they love from the last record. And so I really wrote in this sense. And there are many transition songs.”
She indicated that there is a particular a track called “better on” that she should have “lived” in her previous collection. Since it teased on social media months ago, fans have asked for it to come to light, and now it finally has its chance.
“I shared it with my label and they said, oh yes, absolutely. And that’s why we will only tell the story of” Better Off “in this country where we come to the lucky trains. So you will definitely hear where I am now, where I have been in some transition songs in the past two years.”
