This publication is another big step in his musical journey.
Travis Denning leads a new era of music with the publication of “Simper of Being Sober”, a raw, medium speed track that leans into its traditional country sound and at the same time emphasizes his talent for cardiac-on-sleeve deliveries.
Together with two great friends and songwriters, he served as co-author-Cole Taylor and Drew Parker. It all started with the catch: “This kiss is exactly like whiskey. I am fed up with sober”, which caused Denning to roll out an action that calls the intensive urge to call someone you shouldn’t and admit that you are not about you.
“I liked the idea that a man who was quite obviously drunk and said he was fed up with being sober from her. And so it lives in the same universe as ‘After a few’ and this kind of songs the ‘We shouldn’t, but I really want’ love songs,” now explained Denning to the country.
Against this background, he created a steady groove that works over the pain of a man who offered a vulnerable request for a woman to return to him. Denning reports on the addictive connection between the couple of someone who longs for a drink as soon as the effect of alcohol decreases.
“I just want to be tapped/ injured/ still injured/ still a little drunk on everyone/ of them did not mean that it said words/ the second you are out of my system.
The publication of “Sick of Being Sober” also marks a few first for the artist, including the fact that it is the first track that he has ever published with pedal Steel, a characteristic land element that added a new texture to his developing sound. It is also produced itself, a step that reflects creative freedom that Travis Denning encompasses as an independent artist.
“It’s a bit more a kind of traditional country that is leaning. It is the pull. Some things that I have never really done from production, a little less on the skirt side and all of this. And I also produced this song myself. So that was only a lot of fun.”

He gives: “I think that did it, so I would say difficult, more precisely that it was my first time that I did it and I wanted it so much that I got it out of my belt and that it is struck by the checklist of things I wanted to achieve. “We just wrote this song and I knew immediately that it would be the first thing I would bring out independently.”

“I think it’s just very nice not to have to go through the bureaucracy, not to have to stand in line, not have to climb into the calendar, and all these things that are part of a really large label with a group of artists,” he said. “I mean, now it’s just me, I myself and me. This is something that is really great.”
The first example of this freedom is the fact that his last two publications came closer when he ever published music. And he hopes to continue to “reduce this gap”.
“When the music is there and comes out, I want to get it out as soon as possible,” he revealed.
Travis Denning not only focuses on concentrating on his music and is preparing to welcome his first child with his wife Madison. You should welcome a little girl in July, a busy summer summer for Denning.
